Sue Mock grew up in southern California, but moved to Truckee when she was a freshman in high school. After graduating from Tahoe Truckee High, she moved back to southern California and attended University of California, Irvine. At UCI, she received a bachelor’s degree in Applied Ecology. She also attended the University of Nevada, Reno to complete the course work necessary to obtain her teaching credential. She has been a middle school teacher in the Tahoe Truckee Unified School District since 1993.
