Ms. Leatherman’s Class

Next week is a minimum day week due to conferences.  Your child will attend the conference with you.

Coming up is a research presentation on a social studies learning goal.  It will be due Oct. 17th

Students should be working on a personal time line that is due on Oct. 7th. Each student has a paper that explains the assignment.

I will be gone Tuesday through Friday of this week. On Tuesday I will be attending a district workshop. On Wednesday through Friday I will be involved with a family matter. I will be checking my e-mail daily, so you can still get in touch with me that way.

Class information: We are going on a field trip to the old Truckee Cemetery on Tuesday. Permission slips must be turned in. Wear tennis shoes. Conferences are coming up. For those of you who did not sign up for a time at Back to School Night, I have sent a sign up sheet home with your child. Please choose 2 possible times so I can schedule everyone.

Thursday is picture day.

Next week I will be posting the assignments for that week.  I hope to see all of the parents at Back To School Night on Thursday, September 4th.  We will start at 7:00 in the gym.  Your children should have given you a schedule to follow.  I’m sure you have lots of questions for us.
