Nordic Skiing: a winter sport that encompasses all types of skiing where the heel of the boot cannot be fixed to the ski. This includes a wide range of ski equipment and techniques such as classic and skate cross country skiing, ski jumping, biathlon, and telemark skiing. It also involves racing.

While the weather is still nice, join thousands of other students and parents in the National Safe Routes to School Day. On October 3, walk to the bus stop with your parent instead of waiting in the car. You can get some exercise and reduce carbon emissions at the same time!
