About
Mrs. Williams grew up in the Tahoe-Truckee area. After she graduated from Truckee High School, she attended
the University of California, Santa Cruz and majored in biology. In her senior year of college, she decided to become a teacher and moved to Los Angeles to do her teacher training.
She taught at David Wark Griffith Middle School in East Los Angeles for four years. With the birth of their first child, Mrs. Williams and her husband decided to move back to the Truckee area. 
In the fall of 2000, she began her current position as an 8th grade physical science teacher at Sierra Mountain Middle School, teaching in the same classroom in which she spent 6th grade. When Alder Creek Middle School opened in the fall of 2004, she moved to the new school along with the rest of the SMMS staff.
She currently lives in Glenshire with her husband and 2 children.
