Hello all,
Here is a little about me: I grew up in Chino, California. My mom was a PE teacher and my dad was a social studies teacher and the athletic director. I have two older sisters and yes, I was the bratty little sister.
I attended Humboldt State University in Arcata, California. I played volleyball at HSU for four years and met my husband here. I also earned my teaching credential at Humboldt.
My first teaching position was in Merced, California, teaching 6th grade. I was at Weaver Elementary for eight years. It is a small farm school on the edge of town. I was also the 7th & 8th grade volleyball coach and athletic director.
I started teaching at Alder Creek in September of 2005. I absolutely love it here and hope to be able to stay here for the next 50+ years.
In addition to my teaching responsibilities, I coach the J.V. volleyball team at Truckee High School.
Last but not least, we are expecting our first child this November. We are extremly excited and can’t wait to see who he will be.
